Providenciales, TCI, October 7, 2016 – Around 3:31 PM a report was made to the 911 Centre reporting that gunshots were heard in the area of Times Square located on Aviation Drive.
As a result, police responded to the area of Time Square where they were directed to a car wash located behind the Library. They were informed that a number of gun-shots were fired and a male received gunshot wounds. The victim, a 27-year-old male of the Dominican Republic was rushed to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre by friends where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
This is an active investigation and early indications suggestion that the motive for the shooting is robbery, further information would be given once received.
