Providenciales, TCI, October 3, 2016 – Traffic was detoured on the all important Millennium Highway today; causing major frustration for residents and others who need to travel that stretch of roadway… the traffic was denied access to a large portion of the highway because some of it was deemed a crime scene after a shooting in the area. Female police officer D’Krizia Missick with the tactical unit was today shot in her leg in a daytime heist. It happened at petrol plus gas station on Millennium Highway in Blue Hills and even at this hour, details are scant about the gun crime which took place around midday. Officer Missick is expected to make a full recovery, according to reports reaching our newsroom.
