PROVIDENCIALES, August 20, 2025 – RBC Royal Bank (Bahamas) Limited (“RBC”) announced today the appointment of Phillisia Armbrister as Area Vice President (AVP), Personal and Commercial Banking and Country Manager for the Turks & Caicos Islands, effective August 13, 2025.
As Country Manager and AVP for Turks & Caicos, Ms. Armbrister will take on overall responsibility for RBC’s operations, strategic growth, and business development in market. She will focus on deepening relationships with the Government, regulatory bodies, and the local community, while aiming to provide an exceptional client experience.
Ms. Armbrister brings 25 years of experience with RBC, and has held progressively senior roles in personal banking, with a strong track record of delivering business results and leading high performing teams.
In her most recent role as AVP, Personal Banking, Ms. Armbrister provided strategic direction and oversight for branch leadership across The Bahamas. She successfully coached and developed the teams to enhance client satisfaction, meet sales targets, and drive overall growth and productivity within the branch network.

Ms. Armbrister recently earned a Master’s degree in Chartered Banking from Bangor University and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and International Finance from Sojourner-Douglass College.
