Turks and Caicos, August 8, 2025 – The Commissioner of Police of The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF) wishes to advise the Public, that a curfew has been imposed in Blue Hills Providenciales effective 08/08/2025 at 5.00 am for the next 72 hours in the interest of public safety!
The curfew will be in effect daily from 7.00 pm to 5.00 a.m., during which all non-essential movement is strictly prohibited in Blue Hills Providenciales within the following specified area:
- North: 21048’28.04″N, 72016’32.89″W (Methodist Cemetery) extending eastward for 2,727 meters
- South: 21046’47.65 “N, 72018’23.21 “W (near Chalk Sound waterfront), extending northward for 4,470 meters
- East: 21046’40.10″N, 72017’10.41 “W (near the Airport), extending northward for 3.367 meters
- West: 21047’27.12″N, 72015’24.47″W (Corner of Bay Road Entrance), extending southward for 3,367 meters.
Residents are advised to remain indoors during curfew hours and comply with directives issued by law enforcement. Exceptions will be made for persons attending work with valid identification.
