Providenciales, Turks and Caicos – Rock House proudly handed over a donation of $10,830 to Ashley’s Learning Center (ALC), a private special education school dedicated to supporting students with learning disabilities and developmental delays, including autism.

The donation was raised during a dedicated brunch, “Beyond Blue: A Brunch for Inclusion,” held at Rock House Resort on Easter Sunday, April 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This event celebrated 10 years of Ashley’s Learning Center, honoring a decade of education, empowerment, learning, and inclusion for children with special needs in Turks & Caicos.

Guests enjoyed musical performances from the Dubuque Symphony and generously supported the cause. All proceeds from the brunch were donated to Ashley’s Learning Center, helping to enhance programs, resources, and facilities for students with unique learning needs.

The donation was handed to representatives from ALC on Tuesday, 12 August, at Rock House on Providenciales.

“Rock House has generously supported one of our flagship fundraising initiatives: our annual classical concert. This beloved event aims to inspire, raise awareness, and highlight our local and international partnerships, all while securing vital funds to sustain our organisation’s mission. As we celebrate 10 years of serving children with special needs, we extend our deepest gratitude to Rock House, their staff and guests, as well as our local community, for making this donation possible! Together we’re making a difference and we are honoured to have partners like Rock House on this journey with us” stated Angela Williams, ALC’s founder and board member.

“This cause hits close to home for me,” said Almando Rigby, Executive Assistant Manager of Rock House.  “I was more than happy to assist with the handover, knowing that our contribution will directly benefit the incredible students and staff who make such a difference every day.”

“We are extremely grateful to everyone who contributed to this donation,” said Franck Chantoiseau, General Manager of Rock House. “The support from our guests and community allows Ashley’s Learning Center to continue the amazing work they do, supporting children and families. It proves that together, we can make a lasting impact.”

The donation aligns with Rock House’s ongoing commitment to supporting local education and community initiatives in the Turks and Caicos Islands. By contributing to Ashley’s Learning Center, the resort helps create opportunities for inclusion, learning, and growth for children across the island.
