Her Excellency, Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam, chaired the 12th meeting of Cabinet held on Wednesday July 2nd, 2025 in Grand Turk. All members of Cabinet were present with the exception of H.E. Anya Williams, Deputy Governor, Hon. Rachel Taylor, Minister for Education, Hon. Zhavargo Jolly, Minister for Tourism, and Hon. Arlington Musgrove, Minister for Infrastructure. Mrs. Athenee Basden attended in the position of Acting Deputy Governor.
In this meeting Cabinet:
- Received a presentation providing a progress update on the stabilization work for NHIP.
- Approved TCIG participation in the Caribbean Ocean and Aquaculture Sustainability Facility for 2025/2026.
- Approved a one-month extension for the collection of the Cost of Living Relief Stimulus Cheques.
- Noted the participation of the Ministry of Health and Human Services in WELLS 2025.
- Noted the hosting of the 22ndAnnual Conference of the Association of Caribbean Higher Education Administrators (ACHEA) in the Turks and Caicos from July 10-13, 2025.
- Approved an extension to the appointment of Mr. Miquel Swann as Chairperson of the Procurement Board for six months.
