Her Excellency Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 14th meeting of the Cabinet held on Wednesday, 16th July 2025 at the Office of the Premier on the island of Providenciales.
All members were present with the exception of Deputy Governor H.E. Anya Williams, the Permanent Secretary of Finance Mrs. Athenee Basden attended in the position of Acting Deputy Governor.
In this meeting Cabinet:
- Approved a settlement of a personal injury claim for the Royal Turks and CaicosIslands Police
- Endorsed the proposed adjustment in the royalty extractions to $15 per cubic yard for beach-quality sand and $14 for quarry
- Noted an update on dredgingactivities and licence concerns at the LeewardChannel
