GLODEEKA MOULTRIE APPOINTED ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PORTS

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, 3rd July 2025 – The Office of the Deputy Governor of the Turks and Caicos Islands is pleased to announce the appointment of Glodeeka Moultrie as the Assistant Director of Ports within the Turks and Caicos Islands Border Force in the Ministry of Immigration and Border Services.

Ms. Moultrie began her career in the Public Service in 2007 as an Assistant Customs Officer. She rose through the ranks to serve in various key leadership roles, including Senior Customs Officer, where she gained extensive experience in the Concessions Unit, Anti-Smuggling Unit, and Compliance.

In October 2022, during the first phase of the Customs and Immigration merger into the now Border Force, she was appointed as Acting Airport Manager, overseeing operations for both the Fixed Base Operators (FBOs) and the Howard Hamilton International Airport.

Ms. Moultrie earned an Associate’s Degree in 2020 and a Bachelor’s Degree (Distinction) in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College, where she was the Valedictorian of the Class of 2022. To further enhance her leadership capabilities, she completed the Supervisory Management One course at the University of the West Indies – Turks and Caicos Campus in 2023.

Speaking on her new role, Ms. Moultrie said, “In every role, I have led with integrity, professionalism, and purpose. I firmly believe that to be an effective leader, one must lead by example. By demonstrating ethical conduct, resilience, and transparency, I have worked to foster a culture where accountability and excellence are not only expected but lived daily. I take great pride in supporting the development of others and have always made it a priority to mentor and empower my team. Whether through coaching, one-on-one mentoring, or structured development programs, I’ve helped others unlock their potential and build the confidence needed to thrive and succeed.

I am incredibly excited to take on my new role as Assistant Director of Ports. This position presents a tremendous opportunity to build on the progress we’ve made and to help shape the future of Border Force at our ports, marinas, docks, and beyond. I am committed to working collaboratively with leadership and frontline officers alike to drive innovation, improve service delivery, and ensure that our operations are carried out with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.

First and foremost, I would like to thank my Heavenly Father—without Him, none of this would be possible. His grace, strength, and guidance have carried me every step of the way. To my family, thank you for your constant prayers, love, and support—you have been my rock through every challenge and every triumph.

To my supervisors, both past and present, I am grateful for your mentorship, encouragement, and trust in my abilities; your belief in me helped shape the leader I am today. And to my staff and team members, I want you to know how deeply I appreciate your commitment, your professionalism, and your hard work. Your dedication has inspired me, and I am honoured to continue leading and growing with each of you.
