Turks and Caicos – Her Excellency Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 14th (continuation) meeting of the Cabinet held on Thursday, 17th July 2025 at the Office of the Premier on the island of Providenciales.
All members were present with the exception of Deputy Governor H.E. Anya Williams, the Permanent Secretary of Finance Mrs. Athenee Basden attended in the position of Acting Deputy Governor.
In this meeting Cabinet:
- Approved amendments to the Real Estate (Brokers and Salesmen) Licensing Ordinance (Amendment Ordinance 47 of 2024)
- Approved the establishment of a Mortgage Corporation aimed at providing accessible mortgage financing to low- and middle-income Turks and Caicos Islanders.
- Approved a Development Agreement for the Palace Company TC Ltd. Hadley Investments III Ltd. For the construction of a resort and staff housing development.
- Approved a revised framework for public service salary payments and accompanying deductions.
