Turks and Caicos, June 20, 2025 – A teenager has been charged with the unauthorized taking of a motor vehicle.
The 17-year-old male resident of Kew Town, Providenciales, faces charges of Taking a Motor Vehicle Without Authority, contrary to section 14(1) of the Theft Act, Chapter 3.10.
The charge was laid on Wednesday, 18 June 2025, at Chalk Sound Police Station.
Bail was granted in the sum of $3,000.00 with surety. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 21 July 2025.Given that the accused is a minor, neither his name nor photograph will be published.
In a separate court matter, a charge has been laid in connection with an incident reported earlier this year.
The accused RALPH RAPHAEL is charged with COMMON ASSAULT.
Bail in the sum of $1,000.00 was granted, and he is expected to appear in court on July 7, 2025.
Mr. Raphael, 33, of Blue Hills was charged following investigations into an incident which occurred on April 6, 2025.
