Turks and Caicos, June 26, 2025 – Eagle Legal News has initiated an independent investigation into the disappearance of Brian Tarrence, a 51-year-old American tourist who vanished under troubling circumstances on Providenciales earlier this week.
Mr. Tarrence, a U.S. citizen from Georgia, was last seen in the early hours of Wednesday, June 25, leaving the Inn at Grace Bay, where he and his wife were staying in a privately owned villa rented via Airbnb. CCTV footage reviewed by Eagle Legal News reportedly shows Mr. Tarrence walking away from the property around 3:00 a.m. with no visible signs of distress or struggle.
The couple had arrived on the island on Saturday, June 21, for a vacation. However, according to sources familiar with the case, the trip took a dark turn. Mr. Tarrence, who has a history of alcohol dependency, is believed to have relapsed during the visit, exhibiting signs of paranoia and delusion. His wife reportedly told individuals in the Grace Bay area that he had been talking to imaginary people and appeared increasingly confused.
In the hours leading up to his disappearance, Mr. Tarrence allegedly made unsettling remarks, including claims of seeing people outside their villa and suggesting she could have “saved lives” if she had gotten out of bed. When she awoke the next morning, he was gone. His phone and wallet were missing, but other belongings remained. Family members have since confirmed they have not been able to reach him, and there are concerns that his phone is no longer active.
Eagle Legal News visited the Inn at Grace Bay and spoke with staff who acknowledged the situation but declined further comment. His wife remains on the island and is said to be fully cooperating with ongoing search efforts. Eagle Legal News is actively working to coordinate a community search, beginning in the Grace Bay area and expanding toward The Bight and surrounding districts.
Mr. Tarrence is considered vulnerable, with known mental health and substance use challenges. His disappearance has now entered its third day.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact 911 or the nearest law enforcement authorities immediately.
