Providenicales, Turks and Caicos Islands – Monday, 2 June 2025: From the creators of the short film Ripple Effect, Project I.D.E.A. Media Club is inviting young individuals to register for its highly anticipated summer photography and videography program. This initiative is designed to provide meaningful career-building opportunities while contributing to stronger, safer communities across the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Registration Deadline Extended
Due to high demand, the application deadline has been extended to June 13, 2025. Sessions will begin on July 4, 2025, and run for two months, held twice weekly at the National Stadium.
Program Overview
Project I.D.E.A. (I Dream Every Action) aims to equip participants aged 14 to 21 with foundational media skills and practical experience. Students can choose to focus on filmmaking, photography, journalism, or content creation, with structured classes taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 PM.
The program provides:
- Comprehensive technical training and hands-on project work,
- Professional equipment and gear access,
- Volunteer hour accumulation and real-world experience at local sports events,
- Networking opportunities with industry professionals and peers,
- Portfolio development to support university or job applications.
Classes Offered:
- Content Creation: Learn essential skills to develop compelling digital content.
- Photography: Master techniques to capture impactful images.
