Providenciales, Turks and Caicos (May 16th, 2025) — Experience Turks and Caicos proudly represented the Turks and Caicos Islands at two major Latin American travel trade events—WTM Latin America 2025 in São Paulo, Brazil (April 14–16), and Caribbean Caravan Reloaded in Argentina (April 22–23)—as part of a strategic initiative to reintroduce the destination to the Latin American market and strengthen ties with the region’s top travel advisors and tour operators.

At WTM Latin America, one of the region’s leading travel trade shows, the Turks and Caicos delegation participated under the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s (CTO) Caribbean Pavilion at Booth M90, joining regional partners including Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, Dominica, Guyana, and Saint-Martin. Experience Turks and Caicos’ Chief Marketing Officer Trina Adams led the delegation which included newly appointed LATAM marketing representatives, EM Marketing and Communications, spearheaded by Elsa Peterson.

“As Latin America continues to grow as an important source market for the Caribbean, our presence at WTM Latin America is both timely and strategic,” said Ms. Adams. “We are elated to collaborate with the CTO in representing the Caribbean region. This event marked our formal reintroduction to the LATAM market, where interest in Turks and Caicos is surging — evidenced by the increasing number of travel-related searches and consumer curiosity.”

“Turks and Caicos offers a compelling proposition for Latin American travellers — natural beauty, world-renowned beaches, luxury accommodations, and authentic cultural experiences across our sister islands,” Adams added. “Our goal is to turn this interest into bookings, deeper market engagement, and long-term tourism growth.”

Elsa Peterson, Founder of EM Marketing and Communications, remarked:

“Latin America is showing increasing appetite for sophisticated, nature-rich, and high-end travel experiences—qualities that define Turks and Caicos. Through our representation at WTM Latin America and the Caribbean Caravan, we laid a solid foundation for sustained market entry. The response has been overwhelmingly positive.”

Following WTM Latin America, the team participated in Caribbean Caravan Reloaded 2025, a luxury-focused showcase held in Buenos Aires (April 22) and Córdoba (April 23). This high-end event connected top Caribbean destinations and luxury hotel brands with up to 70 hand-selected luxury travel advisors and Virtuoso agents from Argentina.

Delivered in a roundtable format, the event enabled one-on-one engagement with elite buyers, allowing Experience Turks and Caicos to position the destination as a premier choice for luxury travel in the Caribbean.

The LATAM roadshow delivered strong outcomes for Experience Turks and Caicos, including 58 qualified leads at WTM Latin America and over 120 luxury travel agents trained during Caribbean Caravan. These engagements underscore the growing interest in the Turks and Caicos Islands and the potential of the Latin American market to deliver high-value visitors seeking exclusivity, authenticity, and unforgettable experiences.
