South Caicos Sudden Death

Turks and Caicos, May 23, 2025 – The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF) is investigating the sudden death of a male individual discovered near a liquor store on St. Patrick Street, South Caicos.

At approximately 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2025, the Police Control Room received a report of a male lying motionless on the ground. Responding officers arrived at the location and were directed to the unresponsive individual.

The male, identified as DAVID CLYDE WILLIAMS, also known as “Daedae”,50, was found in a face-down position.

Emergency medical personnel confirmed there were no signs of life

upon their arrival.

The area was cordoned off, and a medical officer later arrived on the scene and officially pronounced Mr. Williams ‘deceased’ at 2:20 p.m.

A post-mortem is expected to be conducted to ascertain the official cause of death. The investigation has now been handed over to the Serious Crimes Unit.
