Freeport, Bahamas, May 30, 2025 – Malique Maranda Bowe, a 24-year-old from Grand Bahama, was crowned Miss Universe Bahamas 2025 on May 25 at the pageant staged at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort.
In a media interview, Bowe described the moment as “an answered prayer,” expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to represent The Bahamas on the global stage.
The Miss Universe Bahamas Organization celebrated Bowe’s birthday shortly after her win, highlighting her as their 2025 Queen. She turned 25 on May 27th.
Bowe’s victory has been met with widespread acclaim, with supporters praising her intelligence and elegance. She is an accountant by profession, having graduated from Florida Memorial University.
Even the Minister for Grand Bahama, Hon. Ginger M. Moxey, M.P., congratulated Malique Bowe on being crowned Miss Bahamas Universe 2025.

The 74th Miss Universe pageant is scheduled to be held at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand, on November 21, 2025.
