Turks and Caicos, March 7, 2025 – As part of Education Week in the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force enjoyed engaging with students at Oseta Jolly Primary School today.

Acting Assistant Commissioner Dwight Gardiner spoke passionately with the students about the noble profession of policing.

We will admit that some were initially sceptical about joining the Force, but that quickly changed as they learned that policing is more than just making arrests—it’s about caring, respect, discipline, and service to the community.

By the end of the discussion, eight out of ten students were excited about the idea of becoming police officers, inspired by the opportunities to make a real difference. The remaining students expressed interest in joining the Turks and Caicos Islands Regiment, another honorable path we wholeheartedly respect.
