Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – Thursday, 20 March 2025: The TCISS Inter-High School Track and Field Championships will officially started on is set to be a thrilling event, with 12 schools from across the Turks and Caicos Islands coming together to compete from 20 -22 March 2025.
The participating schools this year are:
- Clement Howell High School (CHHS) – Providenciales
- H. J. Robinson High School (HJRHS) – Grand Turk
- Maranatha Academy (MA) – Providenciales
- Marjorie Basden High School (MBHS) – South Caicos
- Raymond Gardiner High School (RGHS) – North Caicos
- Precious Treasures International School (PTIS) – Providenciales
- Wesley Methodist (WM) – Providenciales
- Elite School (ELS) – Providenciales
- A. Louise Garland Thomas High School (ALGTHS) – Providenciales
- Provo Middle School (PPM) – Providenciales
- International School (Int.) – Providenciales
- British West Indies Collegiate (BWIC) – Providenciales
With 12 schools participating, this year’s championship is sure to be an exciting and competitive event, showcasing the outstanding athletic talent of students from across the islands. From sprints and relays to jumps and throws, the athletes will put their skills to the test in a true display of athleticism and school pride.
Minister with responsibility for Sports, Hon. Rachel Taylor, expressed her excitement: “The TCISS Inter-High School Championships is always a highly anticipated event in the Turks and Caicos Islands. This year, we are proud to see athletes from schools across the islands coming together to compete. It’s a wonderful opportunity for these students to demonstrate their dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship. I encourage everyone to come out and support our young athletes as they strive for excellence.”
A Glimpse into the Competition:
Last year, the A. Louise Garland Thomas High School Hawks took home the championship title, securing an impressive 24 gold medals. However, with fierce competition from the other 11 schools, this year’s championship promises to be just as exciting and competitive.
Director of Sports Jarrett Forbes commented on the upcoming event:
“The TCISS Inter-High School Track and Field Championships is always a highlight of our school sports season. With 12 schools participating, the level of competition is high, and the athletes have been working hard to showcase their skills. We’re thrilled to see the enthusiasm and dedication from all the schools, and we encourage everyone to come out and cheer for their teams.”

The TCISS Inter-High School Track and Field Championships will take place at the National Stadium, and tickets are available for purchase at the booth:
- Adults: $10 (per day)
- Students/Children: $5 (per day)
