The Bahamas, March 26, 2025 – Building on our historic gathering of Global Africa in Nassau, the Bahamas, in 2024, this year the Afreximbank Annual Meetings returns to Nigeria, where our first-ever Annual General Meeting was held. It therefore gives us immense pleasure to invite you to the 32nd Afreximbank Annual Meetings (AAM2025) taking place in the city of Abuja, from 25 – 28 June, 2025.
AAM2025 will bring academics, global, Caribbean, and African business leaders, policymakers, and government officials together to reflect on the steadfast resilience of the Bank in delivering on its mandate, amidst the issues confronting our economies today and the opportunities for realising the shared aspirations of Africans – in Africa and the Diaspora.
This year, we will gather against a backdrop of rising protectionism and current challenges that beset a world order that had previously fostered global cooperation, growth and development of Africa and the Caribbean over the past two decades. As these changes now pose significant challenges to our economies and people, it is clear that we must take our destiny more fully into our own hands to set our economic trajectory, hence the theme of this year’s meetings: Building the Future on Decades of Resilience.
AAM2025 and associated activities will take place from the 25 – 27 June, commencing with three days of seminars, engaging plenaries, break-out sessions, side-events and entertainment. The Meetings will then culminate with the closed session of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on Saturday, 28 June.
We invite you to confirm your attendance at your earliest convenience by clicking on the “Register Now” button below or by visiting the Afreximbank event registration website at aam2025.com.
