On the opening of the TCISS Track season, Minister with responsibility for Sports Hon. Rachel Taylor shares, “I am thrilled to see the start of another exhilarating track season, where our young athletes have the opportunity to showcase their talent, determination, and sportsmanship. This season is not just about competition; it is about building a culture of excellence, discipline, and national pride. Our vision is to continue nurturing and developing our athletes from the grassroots level to the international stage, ensuring that Turks and Caicos become a force to be reckoned with in the world of athletics. I encourage the entire community to come out and support these future stars as they strive for greatness.”
Last year, the A. Louise Garland Thomas High School Hawks came out on top in the High School Championships with 24 gold medals. In the Primary School Championships, the Ona Glinton Primary School dominated with 368 points.
