Turks and Caicos, 18th February 2025 – DARELL PALMER, 30, Five Cays, has been fined $650, or in default of payment, spend 30 days jailed.
Mr. Palmer appeared before the Magistrate’s Court yesterday (17 February) charged with POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED DRUGS. He pleaded guilty to the offence.
On December 28, 2024, officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police were conducting stop-and-search operations along Leeward Highway in the vicinity of Caribbean Place when they had cause to stop Mr. Palmer.
A search conducted found marijuana. Mr. Palmer was arrested and subsequently charged
