PNP Introduces Four More Dynamic All-Island Candidates Amid Historic Constitutional Change

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – The Progressive National Party (PNP) is proud to unveil its four additional All-Island candidates for the upcoming general election: Honourable Jameka Williams, Honourable Willin Belliard, Sharon Simons, and Zhavargo Jolly. Officially ratified during a private ceremony at Progress House on November 25, 2024, the “Fab Four” were later revealed to the public in a special edition of the party’s weekly show, ‘This is What’s Up.’

Honourable Jameka Williams

Known as “a voice for the voiceless,” Honourable Williams has been a steadfast advocate for empowerment and opportunity. With an extensive background in human resources and a proven record as an Appointed Member of the House of Assembly, she remains committed to ensuring that every Turks and Caicos Islander has access to the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.

Honourable Willin Belliard

A seasoned lawyer and former police officer, Honourable Belliard brings a wealth of expertise in law enforcement, legal practice, and public safety. As a current member of the House of Assembly, he has championed unity and advocated for innovative approaches to enhance security and foster a harmonious, inclusive society.

Sharon Simons

Sharon Simons is a fervent advocate for women’s empowerment and youth advancement, with a distinguished record of championing equality and leadership opportunities. As a former president of Soroptimist International and a member of Women in Sports, she has spearheaded initiatives to promote gender equality and develop youth potential. Her vision for expanding sports tourism underscores her commitment to positioning Turks and Caicos as a hub of talent, growth, and national pride.

Zhavargo Jolly

Zhavargo Jolly is a finance professional dedicated to promoting equitable access to the nation’s wealth for Turks and Caicos Islanders. His vision is rooted in creating inclusive policies that empower citizens to benefit from the nation’s economic success. Jolly’s advocacy for financial literacy and empowerment reflects the PNP’s mission to foster a thriving, inclusive economy for all.

PNP Leader, Honourable Washington Misick, expressed confidence in the candidates, stating, “This is a transformational moment for the Turks and Caicos Islands. As we embrace the opportunities presented by recent constitutional changes, these candidates embody the progressive vision and bold leadership required to navigate this new era.

Deputy Party Leader, Honourable Jamell Robinson, added, “The strength of any team lies in its members, and with these additional the PNP has assembled a formidable team to champion the causes that matter most to our people. They understand the challenges we face and are ready to deliver solutions that will empower every Turks and Caicos Islander.
