Male Convicted for Firearm Offences
Turks and Caicos, December 10, 2024 – JOSIAH PARFAIT,21, has been sentenced to nine years imprisonment, having pleaded guilty to firearm offences.
Mr. Parfait appeared in the Grand Turk Supreme Court and was sentenced yesterday (Monday, 09th December).
*One Count – Possession of Firearm – 9 years
*One Count – Possession of Ammunition -9 years
*One Count – Assault with intent to Rob – 8 years
The sentences are to run concurrently.
On Friday, 22nd November 2024, Mr. Parfait entered a guilty plea to the offences. Based on the evidence presented, on Friday, 01st December 2023, Mr. Parfait was formally charged and cautioned for the offences.
