Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – Friday, 22 November 2024: I am pleased to announce updates to the TCI Civil Service Vehicle Policy, building on the Government’s recent relief initiatives. These amendments are designed to provide meaningful support to serving civil servants, those who have left the service, and retired civil servants.

As part of the revised policy, the vehicle value allowance has been increased to $100,000, ensuring greater benefits are available. The concessions have also been extended to former and retired civil servants who have completed at least five consecutive years of service.

These amendments underscore the Government’s commitment to ensuring that civil servants and retirees who have contributed to our nation receive tangible support. We recognise their dedication and contributions and believe these changes will make a meaningful impact.

These updates mark an important step in recognising the contributions of those who have devoted themselves to public service while reinforcing the Government’s broader commitment to supporting the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
