Postal Services Enhances Offerings with Advanced Technology and Customer-Centered Solutions

Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands – Thursday, 21 November 2024: The Postal Services of the Turks and Caicos Islands continues to modernise and expand its services to meet the evolving needs of residents and visitors alike. With a suite of innovative tools and customer-focused offerings, the Postal Services is bridging the gap between local and international communities.

Enhanced Services Available Include:

1. International Tracking System: Customers can now track both outbound and inbound mail globally, ensuring transparency and security for their parcels.
2. Customs Declaration System: Packages and parcels can now clear U.S. Customs in advance through the Postal Service’s efficient electronic system, reducing delays.
3. CARDIT & RESDIT System: Linked directly to American Airlines, this paperless operation ensures that all mail data inputted on the Postal Service system is automatically updated in the airline’s system for seamless logistics.
4. Express Mail: Quick and reliable delivery times include:
   • United States: 2 days ($20.00)
   • Canada and United Kingdom: 2–5 days ($30.00)
   • Caribbean destinations: 7 days ($25.00)
5. Trackable Mail and Packages: Registered Mail, Express Mail, parcels, and small packages can now be tracked to their destination with an optional paid tracking service.
6. Mailbox Rentals: Affordable rental options are available, ranging from $40.00 to $130.00 annually.
7. Souvenir Shop: Located at the Grand Turk Post Office, the shop offers unique keepsakes, including keyrings, pins, cups, T-shirts, hats, bags, and postcards.
