Four Bahamian arrested in Haiti with 5 kilos of Cocaine

November 20, 2024 – Arrest on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Haiti, more precisely in Cap-Haitien, were four Bahamian nationals for drug trafficking. They were in possession of kilos of cocaine and a sum of money estimated at $3,380 US dollars, according to Haitian Police authorities.

LE FACTEUR HAITI, November 20, 2024._ Agents of the Brigade for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS) arrested on Monday, November 18, 2024, 4 drug traffickers from the Bahamas.

They are identified as: Wendel Fleurena, Reynaldo Filme, Demetrio McPhee and Arlington Colebroock, aged 31, 38, 39 and 61 respectively.

According to the confirmations of the Northern Departmental Directorate of the Haitian National Police (DDN-PNH), BLTS agents succeeded in the coup in the locality called “Bande-du-Nord”, in the Commune of Cap-Haitien.

These Bahamians were on board a tricycle, heading for Labadee.  They had in their possession five (5) kilos of cocaine, $3,380 US dollars and four mobile phones.

It should be recalled that three days before, on Friday, November 15, 2024, police officer Stanley Étienne had also been arrested by BLTS agents for illicit drug trafficking.

This Agent II police officer from the 28th promotion of the police institution was denounced by Clive MCCOY CAMERON, a Jamaican drug trafficker who was also arrested on November 11, 2024 for illicit drug trafficking and illegal possession of firearms.
