Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands, 24th October 2024 – The Ministry of Public Safety and Utilities in collaboration with the Water Undertaking Unit, would like to advise the residents of Grand Turk of a temporary suspension of water service due to essential maintenance work on the power transformer supplying the water treatment facility.
This temporary interruption is necessary to ensure the safety of the repair operations and to improve the reliability of both the water distribution and power supply systems.

- Time: 5:00 am to 6:00 pm
The repair work is crucial to maintaining the overall performance and safety of our infrastructure. The water service will be restored as soon as repairs are complete. We anticipate that normal operations will resume by 6:00 pm on 26th October 2024.
In the event of unforeseen delays, the Water Undertaking Unit will provide timely updates. The Water Undertaking Unit apologizes in advance for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your cooperation.
