Suspected Narcotics found at Transit Shed

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands 28^th October 2024 – On October 25, 2024, the Turks and Caicos Islands Border Force Canine Unit intercepted a significant drug shipment.  Approximately 27.08 pounds of suspected cannabis was discovered concealed within a washing machine at one of our transit sheds.

The investigation into this matter is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.

The Turks and Caicos Islands Border Force remains committed to safeguarding our borders and protecting our community. The public is reminded that the illegal importation of controlled substances is a serious offence punishable by fines and imprisonment upon conviction.
