HON. KYLE KNOWLES DENIES ALLEGATIONS OF BEING OVERPAID AS MINISTER

Thursday, October 17th, 2024 | Turks and Caicos Islands – Rumors circulating on social media, particularly WhatsApp, claim that Hon. Kyle Knowles, Member of Parliament for Wheeland, has been overpaid by the Turks and Caicos Islands Government (TCIG) in the amount of $150,000. These allegations have now been deemed malicious and false.

After receiving the claims from multiple sources, Eagle Legal News reached out to Hon. Knowles and two senior government officials for comment. All parties categorically denied the accusations, labeling them as baseless and inappropriate.

In an exclusive phone interview, Hon. Knowles expressed his belief that these rumors are part of a political smear campaign against him. “This is nothing more than a political attack,” Knowles stated. “It’s unacceptable and unnecessary to stoop this low for political gain.”
