History making Beauty Selena Grant first runner up in Miss Global International

Turks and Caicos, October 18, 2024 – A big welcome home celebration engulfed Selena Grant, who returned to the Turks and Caicos on Thursday October 17 as the first-runner up in the recently held Miss Global International pageant.
Twenty-five beautiful young women journeyed to the Cayman Islands to be part of the competition, including Grant who recently had a stand out showing at the Miss Universe TCI pageant.
Ahead of her departure for Cayman, Grant said, “I would like to take the time out to thank my country for the outpouring of love and support l’ve felt over the last few weeks. I hope I make you proud! I would also like to thank everyone that has contributed to my preparation for this pageant. My amazing sponsor @noahsarktci. The pageant’s coronation night was held on Sunday October 13 in the Grand Cayman ballroom of Hotel Indigo with the theme, ‘Uniting the World through Beauty and Tourism.’
Grant, as the Turks and Caicos’ beauty ambassador joined young women from Argentina, Chile, Cuba, Hungary, India, Jamaica, Latvia, Luxembourg, Peru, Poland, San Andres, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago, the United Kingdom, the United States and Guyana, the latter
Arian Dahlia Richmond was crowned the new Miss Global International 2024-2025.
It was the 20th edition of the pageant which featured contestants from 17 to 40 years old and where talent was on display, Saturday October 10.
Selena Grant, who captured the Miss Photogenic prize at the pageant over the weekend was overjoyed as she saw her home town support burst to life with a motorcade escorting her through the main streets of Providenciales and culminating at Island Fish Fry where scores of fans were able to personally congratulate Ms. Grant.
