Moratorium on Dealership Licenses announces TCI Government

Turks and Caicos: Effective 15 September 2024, the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is placing a temporary moratorium on the issuance of Dealership Licenses. This moratorium will be in effect for a period of six (6) months. During this time, no new applications for Dealership Licenses will be accepted.

The DMV will cease accepting new applications as of 15 September 2024.  Any applications submitted after this date will not be processed.

The purpose of this moratorium is to allow the DMV to review and revise its current licensing procedures to better serve the public and ensure compliance with industry standards.
