Turks and Caicos, August 17, 2024 – Officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (Tactical Unit) and the Immigration Department conducted joint operations at two locations, one in Blue Hills and another along Leeward Highway. Providenciales, on August 13, 2024.

Operation MIGHT focuses on deterring criminal activities and harnesses the RT&CIPF’s total resources to disrupt criminals, thereby ensuring the safety and security of all communities within the TCI.

During the searches, nine (9) adult males, two (2) minor males and three (3) females were detained for Immigration purposes.

Anyone with information on illegal activities or knowledge of illicit firearms is asked to contact the nearest Police Station, Crime Stoppers, at 1-800-8477 or 911.

Additionally, the RTCIPF asks persons to download the Crime Stoppers P3 app and provide information.
