Accused Men Charged With Firearm Offences

Providenciales, TCI – July 12th, 2024 – ROODVENS SINAUS and WILDER DIEUVEUIL are expected to appear before a Magistrate charged with the following several counts of firearm offences.

Mr Sinaus,37, a Haitian national, was charged yesterday (July 11th) with the following offences:

• Three Counts – Possession of Firearm;
• Three Counts –Possession of Ammunition
• One Count- Unlawful Entry

Mr Dieuveuil, aka “Baligaz”, 25, also a Haitian national, faces the following charges:

• Three Counts – Possession of Firearm;
• Three Counts –Possession of Ammunition
• One Count- Unlawful Entry

The charges came after police officers consulted with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Both accused were held by officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force on the morning of July 08 at a residence in Dock Yard, Providenciales, during Operation MIGHT.

The RT&CIPF is asking the public to notify the closest police station, contact 911, the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, and anonymously give any information on illegal activity.
