Kenya puts temporary pause on Haiti mission

#Haiti#Kenya#MultinationalForce, March 12th, 2024 – The Kenyan Government on Tuesday March 12, announced it is pressing pause on the multinational force mission to Haiti, following Henry’s resignation. It says the efforts for the mission will be resumed when a new Haitian government is in place under the Transitional Presidential Council, as detailed by Caricom Chair Irfaan Ali. A date for the council to take effect is yet to be announced, but reports say it could be anytime soon.
