Jury Selected now; Brian Williams Jr alleged killer trial starts this week

#TurksandCaicos, March 21, 2024 – The second murder trial listed to start in Grand Turk was that of accused JOUVLY INELUS, 32.
His defense counsel is Mrs. Lara Maroof Misick and Principal Public Prosecutor Mr. Clement Joseph will present the Crown’s case for the office of the Director of Public Prosecution.
A 12-member jury was selected on Wednesday, March13th, before his Lordship, The Hon Mr. Justice Chris Selochan.
INELUS is accused of shooting Brian Leon Williams on Thursday, November 3rd 2022.
In addition to murder, Inelus also faces four counts of firearm-related offences namely:
Discharging a Firearm, Discharging Ammunition, Carrying a Firearm, and Carrying Ammunition.
The homicide took place on Thursday, 3rd November 2022, Williams Jr. was shot and killed at a location known as Enid Forbes Yard, Hopeland Close, Blue Hills, Providenciales.
