Males Charged with Firearm Offences

#TurksandCaicos, February 28, 2024 – Officers of the Serious Crime Unit of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force have charged GINO GERBEX and CHUNCO JESTAN SEYMOUR with firearm-related offences.

Mr. GERBEX, 32, of Providenciales, was arrested at the Providenciales International Airport on February 16th, 2024, with the following offences:

1) Conspiracy to supply firearms
2) Conspiracy to supply ammunition

Mr. GERBEX appeared in court on February 20th, where he was remanded in custody pending a
sufficiency hearing on April 10th, 2024.

Additionally, Mr. SEYMOUR, 42, also of Providenciales, was charged with:

1) Conspiracy to supply firearms
2) Conspiracy to supply ammunition

Mr. Seymour appeared at the Supreme Court yesterday (February 27th), where he was granted
conditional bail pending a sufficiency hearing on April 10th, 2024.
