Procedure for Removing Charges for Land Previously Attached to TCI Invest and TOLCO Loans  

#TurksandCaicos, January 19, 2024 – Following the complete write-off of TCInvest and TOLCO loans in September 2023, the Treasury has outlined the procedures for proprietors to follow in order to have the charge on their properties lifted.

To start the process, individuals who previously had loans with TCInvest and TOLCO should contact Mr. Delano Williams at BDwilliams@gov.tc . They will need to provide the block and parcel number, as well as the name of the individual to whom the loan was issued.

The application will be processed by the Treasury Department and then forwarded to the Governor’s Office for approval. Once approved, the documents will be sent to the Land Registry for processing. A processing fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) will be payable to the Treasury by the client, and an invoice will be provided for payment.

Upon completion of the processing, a copy of the discharge document will be made available to the client. For further queries, individuals are encouraged to contact Mr. Delano Williams at BDwilliams@gov.tc
