DUI charge for Woman in Traffic case

#TurksandCaicos, January 19, 2024 – Listed for Magistrate’s court hearing on Thursday, 11th January 2024, are the ALLANS.
Senior defense human rights attorney, Sheena Mair is scheduled to appear before the acting Resident Magistrate Patricia Arana in defense of her clients ESMERALDA and SCOTT ALLAN on a number of traffic offenses.
ESMERALDA ALLAN has four charges, namely: Dangerous driving, Driving under the influence of drugs, Unlicensed Driving and Using a motor vehicle without insurance.
SCOTT ALLAN is facing two charges, permitting the use of Motor Vehicle without Insurance and permitting unlicensed driving.
Based on the charges, Magnetic Media has ascertained that SCOTT ALLAN allegedly allowed or gave permission to ESMERALDA ALLAN, relation unknown, to drive or use his vehicle and she has no driver’s license and without the vehicle being insured.
ESMERALDA ALLAN was allegedly driving dangerously and doing so under the influence, according to the information presented to the Court.
The outcome of this matter is still pending.
