Ocean Breeze Resort Opens in North Caicos

#TurksandCaicos, December 21, 2023 – North Caicos now has much more to offer with the establishment of a new resort named the Ocean Breeze Resort; it boasts 26 rooms and suites for a return of the luxury hotel experience on the island known as the ‘breadbasket’ capital of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Arlington Musgrove, Minister of Immigration and Border Services, Customs, Disaster Management, Airports, Ports made a post on Facebook about the major development for North Caicos.   Musgrove is native to North Caicos and the Member of Parliament for the twin island district which includes Middle Caicos.

Minister Musgrove refers to the importance of the resort to the tourism arm of North Caicos saying, “as visitors flock more and more to North Caicos to experience its tranquility and natural beauty, endeavours such as this are important to build our capacity.”

He continued to highlight that the evolution of North Caicos is nearing which will serve as a positive outcome for the people of the Turks and Caicos.  A new dock, Bellfield Landing cruise port, is a stunning welcome mat and the waterfront promenade opened this year features shopping, history and breathtaking vistas.

“Growth is coming. It is inevitable. And this is a wonderful example of how Turks and Caicos Islanders can be benefactors of it,” he maintained.

Additionally, Musgrove congratulated the owners Darville and Kadra Handfield, the owners of the country’s newest and native owned resort.  

“Kudos to the Ocean Breeze Resort team. A beautiful property full of smiles to match,” Musgrove later continued.

Ocean Breeze TCI takes a lot of liberties, building on the farm island charm with its soft green theme, airy rooms overlooking the pool and a high end styled dining space which is simply described as, “Cilantros Bar & Grill, our exquisite on-site restaurant in North Caicos that adds a delicious dimension to your experience.”

There will be more said about this intriguing addition to the North Caicos tourism landscape as the island is poised to see development at the airport, which will open a new gateway to the twin islands – the two largest and lush in the Turks and Caicos chain.
