No Show and Case dropped in Drug Dealing Offences

#TurksandCaicos, December 15, 2023 – Two unrelated drug cases made the court list for two consecutive Tuesdays; one on December 5 and the other on December 12.
CASE WITHDRAWN
In the first matter, the accused Cordaro Timothy appeared in the Magistrate’s court on Tuesdays 5th December,
He was released without charge.
He was represented by Mr. Kwame Smith.
BENCH WARRANT ISSUED
In the matter of JEFFVANO HANDFIELD, there was a bench warrant when he failed to attend court on Tuesday 12th December, 2023. Handfield is charged with possession and possession with intent with intent to supply.
No particulars of his matter were shared, only the bench warrant issued.
Both matters were heard by Chief Magistrate, Mr. Jolyon Hatmin.
