It is reported that there were 156 people found on board the vessel, which was towed into South Dock by members of the Royal TCI Police and TCI Regiment.  There were 133 males, 23 females along with the handful of children who took the risky voyage from embattled Haiti.

Turks and Caicos now surpasses 3,600 illegal migrants with this latest interception.  While there has been no official comment, our newsroom is informed that there was another interception on Wednesday, just one day later.
