Department of Motor Vehicles Officer cleared of DRUG CHARGES

#TurksandCaicos, December 21, 2023 – Magnetic Media learned that on Thursday December 7th, DENZEL DICKENSON, 29 was called back before the Court as the prosecution’s office invited the court to drop all charges against the DMV officer for the alleged post office drugs bust of Wednesday, September 27th, 2023.
Court officials revealed that despite the five pounds of American high-grade foreign kush weed arriving in the TCI in DENZEL DICKENSON’S name at the Providenciales Post Office, he never went to pick it up on his own. It was explained that Dickenson was contacted to come and collect the packages. Upon his arrival, he was then arrested for the drugs.
The prosecution, had they not withdrawn the case of two counts of improper importation, would not have been able to prove knowledge in a trial, because, they had no evidence the now cleared former accused DMV officer, knew of the packages and more so of its contents before being called by the authorities to the post office.
