Turks and Caicos to Celebrate International Men’s Day
Grand Turk, 2 November 2023 – The Department of Gender Affairs is thrilled to announce the upcoming International Men’s Day Awards, which will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Yellowman and Sons Auditorium in Grand Turk. This prestigious event will be held under the patronage of the Honorable Otis Morris, Minister of Home Affairs, Public Safety, and Utilities is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating exceptional males in our community who exemplify the theme of “Men of Character: Shaping Tomorrow with Integrity and Empathy.”
International Men’s Day is observed worldwide on November 19th, and it provides an excellent opportunity to appreciate and acknowledge the positive contributions that men make to our communities, families, and society. This year, we have chosen to honor those who inspire and lead by example, demonstrating unwavering integrity and a deep sense of empathy in their actions.
The International Men’s Day Awards will feature seventeen (17) categories, each highlighting specific aspects of stalwart character, dedication, and contributions to society.
The Department invites nominations for deserving individuals who embody the spirit of Integrity and Empathy. Kindly submit Nominations through https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MensAwardsTCI until November 8th, 2023. Voting will be done via the same platform and will commence on November 9th, 2023.
