#TurksandCaicos, November 1, 2023 – Journalists from some of the most influential travel magazines in the world spent a healthy number of days in the Turks and Caicos getting the full local experience, and the adventures to which they were exposed has led to a new string of articles showcasing the destination.

During the week of the State of the Industry Conference of the Caribbean Tourism Organization, or SOTIC, photos were shared of writers in broad brimmed hats and shorts trekking through the hills of North and Middle Caicos, enjoying sugarcane juice at Isaac Farms and splashing along Bambarra Beach.

The tour, which featured Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, TravelPulse, Insider Report, Travel Press, Travel Courier, Travel Influencer and Travel Noire was part of the ongoing Conference, and one of the often touted benefits of the Turks and Caicos hosting for the first time.

The TCI, a Caribbean British Overseas territory, which has once copped the title of No. 1 Island in the World, is no stranger to sprawling features in luxury travel magazines.  It has been the subject of dozens of praise fat articles gushing over the pristine waters and spectacular five and six star resort experiences.

Less frequently featured, though not completely out of the limelight, are the twin islands of North and Middle Caicos as well as southern jewels Salt Cay and South Caicos.

Grand Turk is often hailed as the cruise and dive capital of the country with Providenciales, boasting award winning resort properties hugging the regularly rewarded, World’s Leading Beach Destination, Grace Bay Beach.

The new Destination Marketing  and Management Organization, Experience Turks and Caicos is attempting to supercharge development and attention for these islands, with a plan to broaden the spotlight.

As such the tours invaded the sister islands and even included Grand Turk.

The journalists also attended a revived, Island Fish Fry in Providenciales.
