#TurksandCaicosIslands, October 20, 2023 – Once again, our Beautiful by Nature islands has been impacted by gun violence that took the lives of two young men and injured another on yesterday afternoon. We would like to express our sympathies to their families and relatives during this difficult time, our prayers are with you.
These occurrences are becoming far too frequent and commonplace in our country, which is now stretching its tentacles into areas of main economic industry. We trust that the authorities will do everything within their legal authority to apprehend the perpetrators.

We, the People’s Democratic Movement condemns this; and all act of violence within our country, and we trust that our citizens and resident will find peaceful means to resolve their conflicts.
We will continue to pray for peace throughout the entire Turks and Caicos Islands.
