10 ACCUSED Individuals Appear before Grand Turk Magistrate

#TurksandCaicos, September 19, 2023 – Her Honour The Resident Magistrate for Grand Turk Ms. Keri-Ann Kemble had the following matters before her the week of Monday September 11th to Friday  September 15th 2023.

MONDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER: SHAQUANT ROBINSON, charged with Assault Occasioning Actually Bodily Harm (ABH), Offensive Weapon and Throwing Missiles.

EMMANUEL LEGER, charged with an offensive weapon and throwing missiles.

TUESDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER: EDWIN TAVERAS listed for sentencing in two possession of controlled drugs charges having been convicted previously.

WEDNESDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER: DAMARION PALMER and ART PARKER listed on a number of criminal dishonesty offenses, ie burglaries, etc. These are all Providenciales allegations that were transferred to the Grand Turk Resident Magistrate court when both accused were remanded to the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation several months ago.

DAMARION PALMER has since been released on bail and ART PARKER remains on remand as he has other matters pending in the Supreme Court.

JASON SMITH, who is represented by Mr. Noel Skippings is charged with two counts of assaulting police officers, trespassing and other charges. He has around five counts of allegations pending against him.

THURSDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER: ILIRIGUE LAURENCIN appeared before the Hon. Grand Turk Resident Magistrate charged with causing death by dangerous driving, no insurance and other charges.

DENA LOUIS MORLEY, in court charged with wasteful employment of police time.

ROYAL ROBINSON, JR. is charged with wounding with intent.  He too has Mr. Noel Skippings as his counsel.

And the tenth case, JERREAL MISSICK appeared related to five illegal drug charges pending against him; three for possession of controlled drugs, cocaine and marijuana and two counts of possession with intent to supply. Ms. Sheena Mair is listed as his representative.
