#TurksandCaicos, August 14, 2023 – NEAL RIGBY, now in His fifties and described as a “career criminal well known to the TCI courts” re-appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on August 7, 2023 in relation to two counts of Handling Stolen Good.
Rigby having pleaded not guilty at a previous court appearance to both these charges was granted an opportunity to apply for legal aid representation.
The Hon. Chief Magistrate Mr. Jolyon Hatmin urged Rigby to go and apply on August 7, as his application should have been filed already.

According to information read out in court, these were the property of Ricky Steven Sinclair of Rigby Hill Five Cays, Providenciales. The dates of the alleged offense are sometime between Tuesday 16th May to Wednesday 17th May, 2023.
He is also charged with the same offense but this count of the stolen goods allegedly belongs to Top End Millwork and the stolen items totalled in value to the amount of $1,738.00.

The Crown is saying that Neal Rigby dishonestly assisted in the retention of the above mentioned stolen goods.
The defendant was provided with some disclosure materials before leaving the court to facilitate with the preparation of his defense with or without a lawyer.
