#SintMaarten, August 11, 2023 – Caribbean Airlines is once again staying true to its commitment to improve connectivity and foster closer ties within the Caribbean region, with its expansion of services between Trinidad and Sint Maarten.
The airline says it is dedicated to increasing its reach and this, along with recent expansions such as the addition of St.Kitts to its route network, launched on the 24th of July a few weeks ago, proves it true.
In fact, Garvin Medera, CEO of Caribbean Airlines, expressed this saying, “The Caribbean is our home, and our growth strategy is deeply rooted in the Caribbean. Our expansion efforts reflect our commitment to seamlessly connect this beautiful region.”
As of the 21st of August, the airline will increase its capacity with flights every Friday.
Additionally, it announced that the new flights will be operated using the ATR 72-600 aircraft, and will offer both business and leisure travellers increased flexibility and convenience.
As the largest airline in the Caribbean, they don’t plan on stopping here as preparations are being made to add a second service between Trinidad and Sint Maarten from November 5th, that will operate on Mondays.
This will further enhance travel options, catering to the increased demand during the winter season, a peak travel period.
These newly introduced ATR services will add 272 seats weekly to Sint Maarten.
Medera expressed that the airline is pleased with this new expansion saying, “We are delighted to offer increased capacity and more travel options between Trinidad and St Maarten. This expansion is testament to our dedication to providing enhanced connections within the region, which is one of the pillars of our Welcome Home campaign.”
