Virgin Atlantic launches routes to St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada

June 12, 2023 – British based airline, Virgin Atlantic Will soon have flights to Grenada and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines through Barbados, joining the inter-island air bridge market.

On the 14th of June 2023, travelers will be able to fly from Barbados to Grenada or Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The airline in a statement expressed this new development as a gateway for customers to experience the Caribbean.

“The new inter-island services are set to provide both international and local customers more opportunities to explore the Caribbean and each island’s unique personality.”

They continued to inform on the offers they have in light of the increase in demands for vacations.

“With an increased customer demand for experience-rich breaks, Virgin Atlantic Holidays will provide complete packages incorporating easy booking, preferred itineraries and seamless connections between the islands, each with the same premium Virgin Atlantic service they enjoy on transatlantic flights. This will also be complemented by an increase in flights to St Vincent and the Grenadines, which will operate thrice weekly this winter, with seats to St Lucia increasing by 33 per cent since last year, reaffirming the post-pandemic demand for premium, sunny getaways.”

On Wednesdays and Sundays in the summer, they will fly between Barbados and St Vincent, while flights will increase to Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays in winter.

The route from Barbados to Grenada will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays in both summer and winter.

The airline’s newly launched routes announced on Thursday June 1st, are in line with its goal to grow its presence in the region flying to more islands as well as offering 150 per cent more seats in its premium cabins compared to 2019.
