#TurksandCaicos, June 22, 2023 – She brought scores of women together annually for the Courageous Women’s Conference, gathered in Five Cays at the Rock of Jesus Ministry where they were given biblical instruction and tangible demonstrations of how they could be more, do more and soar higher by the grace of a benevolent God.

She walked in prayer against violence, helped to feed the hungry, mentored and inspired generations and built an energetic Christian ministry including a gospel media network and business empire in style with her family.

Described by her children as the greatest mother, a women of unshakable faith and to her husband and partner in every way – Bishop Bryant Cox – she had been married 29 years.

The loss of Charmaine Monic Cox is not going down easy.  It is another hard pill to swallow for those who have been directly and indirectly touched by her effervescent personality.  Indisputably, this is a gut-wrenching loss of inexplicable impact to the Turks and Caicos Islands and beyond.

On Wednesday night, after hours of speculation and unofficial confirmation, the family issued a statement to affirm the death of Pastor Charmaine and ask for support to pull through.

“With deep sorry, Bishop Bryant Cox, announces the passing of his lovely, beautiful wife, soulmate and partner in Ministry, Pastor Charmaine Monic Cox, who departed this physical world today, June 21st 2023 while wrapped in his arms.

We ask that you please keep the family and ROJ Ministry in your prayers during this time.”

Pastor Charmaine Cox leaves behind four children; three sons and her eldest, a newly married daughter.  She is also the youngest of 12 siblings and originally from Nassau in The Bahamas.

Condolences continue to pour in.  Her cause of death is unknown at this time.
