Serious Shooting from December 2020; Snake Hill man facing attempted murder charges

#TurksandCaicos, June 12, 2023 – The accused in the matter dating back to 2020 is a Turks and Caicos Bahamian who is a resident of Snake Hill Providenciales.

RANDALL JASARIO ROBINSON who is represented by Senior defense attorney, Finbar Grant of Finbar Grant & Associates law firm appeared in court before Justice Tanya Lobban-Jackson, on Tuesday May 23  2023.  The case, is described by members of the Royal TCI Police, as a very serious and life threatening shooting incident that allegedly occurred in December 2020.

Magnetic Media learned that in December of 2020, two masked and armed individuals entered a bar at Snake Hill, Providenciales in an attempt to hold up the establishment. The owner and one of the alleged bandits got into an intense scuffle where the owner was reportedly shot by one of the bandits bringing the scuffle to an immediate end.

An ambulance was called after the bandits fled the crime scene; police arrived and began their investigations.

RANDALL JASARIO ROBINSON was eventually arrested, charged and remanded to custody for nearly two years awaiting trial until he was granted bailed.

On Tuesday May 23, a new trial date was fixed in the Providenciales Supreme Court  for October 2023.
